Finding video art on the Web

Slate has an article that explores why video art is so hard to find on sites like YouTube, explaining a bit about video as an art form and comparing it to sculpture and installations. The second page of the piece has links to several sites that do have some video art pieces online for viewing.

I love having a variety of methods that allow people to enjoy the arts that might never get the chance

Video artists, I think, try to distinguish themselves from 'ordinary' people by makingit very difficult to see their work. They're elitists, and YouTube is inherently anti-elitist.
